Future Network of Intelligence Institute, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen
The Future Network of Intelligence Institute (FNii) at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen is directed by professor Cui Shuguang.
The institute is undertaking relevant National Key R&D Project, Guangdong Key R&D project, and has set up the CUHK(SZ)-SRTC Spectrum Big Data Joint Lab, the CUHK(SZ)-JD Joint AI Lab, and Shenzhen key laboratory of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence. Based on these research platforms, FNii is aiming to build up a high-talented team of 30 scientists, 20 post-doctors, and 100 doctoral students, focusing on scientific research of data-driven information networks, brain-alike AI, human-machine interface, distributed intelligence, and smart hospital applications.
FNii will combine the resources of CUHK (SZ) in intelligence, networks, and systems to build up a world-class scientific research platform for the university and Shenzhen. It will provide driving forces for the development of Shenzhen's information industry.
