Professor/Project Introduction
Dr. Miha Bre?ar is an Assistant Professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. He received his Ph. D and Master’s degree from University of Warwick and his bachelor degree from Unviersity of Ljubljana. His research revolves around the stability of Markov processes and its applications to stochastic algorithms.

Job Description
Applicants should have:
1. A Bachelor or above degree, overseas study experience is preferred;
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) will be a must;
3. Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese, excellent written skills will be a plus;
4. Good organization skills, interpersonal skills, learning skills and a strong sense of responsibility;
5. Able to work independently, positive and have continuous improvement mindset.
Job Duties include:
1. Daily Reimbursement Management: Reimbursement of Travel Expenses, Conference Fees, and Membership Fees, Medical Treatment Documents etc.;
2. Research Project Support: 1).Assist in organizing the application materials; 2).Track the review progress from the scientific research department; 3).Assist with the financial audit;
3. Student Affairs: 1).Student contract signing; 2).Arrangement of workstations; 3).Disbursement of labor fees;
4. Equipment Purchasing: Responsible for managing correspondence and coordinating internal administrative and financial processes related to equipment purchases, as needed;
5. Event organization: Assist with scheduling internal academic talks and coordinating with invited speakers, when necessary;
6. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Salary and Fringe Benefits
Salary will be comparable to international standards, commensurate with experience and accomplishments. Appointments will be made under the establishment of CUHK-Shenzhen, and employee benefits will be provided according to the relevant labor laws of Mainland China as well as CUHK-Shenzhen regulations.
